Do you dream of becoming an author?

Join us Saturday, September 14, 2019, for a Writers Workshop

This engaging one-day workshop will provide aspiring nonfiction authors the blueprint for publishing success.

Do you have unique skills, great ideas, awesome experience, or just a lot of practical knowledge that you would like to share with the world? Will your book focus on gardening, cooking, caring for pets? Or, do you want to write about a more personal topic, such as providing eldercare, creating a memoir, or writing your family history? Is your topic the unique organization skills you developed, such as starting a business, managing a business, or organizing a community action group? Whatever your unique skills, expertise, and passions are, there is a possibility for a book.

The focus of this workshop will be on developing ideas for a nonfiction book, the mechanics of the book proposal, and the book writing process. This workshop prepares you to write a book that publishers want to publish. Participants will identify the need for a book, begin crafting a book proposal, and learn the necessary steps to have success in publishing. Much of the content will be practical, emphasizing clear and engaging content. Whether you are using a traditional publisher or you want to publish it yourself, this workshop will help.
