What We Offer
ROI Certification is the most comprehensive program for gaining the knowledge, skills, and resources to evaluate programs of all types. It is a proven process to develop the capability necessary to measure the impact and ROI for any project or program. Upon completion, particpants receive continued support as they conduct their first evaluation study in their own organization. Upon demonstrating competency in the application of the ROI Methodology, participants earn the prestigious Certified ROI Professional® (CRP) designation, joining over 6,000 other professionals who have achieved this. No other program gives you access to the same level of expertise and capability as ROI Certification.
This program has been approved for:
- 32 (HR General) recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
- 36 PDC hours by SHRM.
- 24 continuing education recertification hours toward the Certified Professional in Training Management credential by Training Industry.
ROI Institute consultants provide assistance with assessment, measurement, analytics, and evaluation to individuals and organizations. Through a network of world-class publishers including Berrett Koehler, McGraw Hill, Wiley & Sons, and ATD, ROI Institute documents the ROI Methodology for multiple audiences and in multiple languages. ROI Institute CEO Patti Phillips and ROI Institute Chairman Jack Phillips together have contributed to the publication of over 120 books. The goal is to present ROI in a variety of ways for different audience needs. Publications range from brief introductions to detailed books filled with case studies that describe the application of the process step-by-step. Books are available through publishers and through the ROI Resource Center.
Our Free Tools section is also available to professionals looking to start measuring the ROI of projects, programs, and initiatives. The section includes templates for data collection, case studies for reference, samples of our work among other important tools for beginners. For access to all of our tools, one must become a site member by participating in ROI Certification.
ROI Methodology
The ROI Methodology is a scalable and systematic approach to program evaluation. Using a process model, five-level framework, and operating standards to capture performance metrics from simple satisfaction scores to financial impact, the methodology enables you to collect appropriate data to report performance of a variety of initiatives and program types. The ROI Methodology generates both qualitative and quantitative data and provides techniques to isolate the effects of the program from other influences–resulting in credible metrics and ROI reports accepted by financial executives and stakeholders.
With over 6,000 organizations using this process, the ROI Methodology is the most used and implemented evaluation system in the world. The ROI Methodology not only provides the capability to evaluate program performance, but also improves the design of programs for optimal impact.
